I hope you didn't Double. This is NOT a Negative Double situation. This would be a PENALTY Double. "Double" here says you have a very strong hand with ♥ winners. But you don't.
Bidding 1♠ just shows four ♠. Partner will not think you have five of them. You did not open the bidding 1♠ so you probably don't have five of them.
