Reverses VII - Responding with SIX in your Original Major or Bidding 3NT

This post is a continuation of previous posts. Please read them first and if you understand everything you can continue with this post.
Simple Reverses
Reverses Part II
Reverses Part III
Reverses IV - Responding to a Reverse
Reverses V - Responding with FIVE in your Original Major
Reverses VI - Openers rebids when Responder has shown a five card Major

We talked about what Responder can do with a weak hand and support for Opener. We talked about what Responder can do with a strong hand and support for Opener. We talked about Responder rebidding their major to show a five card suit. What other bids can Responder make?

With a SIX card suit and enough values for game Responder can rebid their suit jumping a level.

Here's your hand:
♠KQT863
2
KQ42
♣82

Partner opens the bidding 1. You bid 1♠. Partner then bids 2.

For Partner to now talk about means they have just reversed. They should have five , four and 17+ HCP.

You have enough values to force to game. It sure would be nice to find a ♠ fit. Bidding 2♠ only shows a FIVE card suit and does not create a game force.

Bid 3♠.

This shows a SIX card suit and enough values for game.

What else can Responder do?

What happens if Responder does not have extra length in their major and no fit for either of Opener's suits and still wants to go to game?

They can bid 3NT.

This shows the values for game and the unbid suit stopped. Responder can even have a minor suit fit but thinks that NT will play better.

Take this hand:
♠QT83
62
J84
♣AQ83

Partner opens the bidding 1. You bid 1♠. Partner then bids 2.

For Partner to now talk about means they have just reversed. They should have five , four and 17+ HCP.

You have enough values to force to game. You do have a fit but the best chance at game here would be NT. You have the unbid suit stopped.

Bid 3NT.

Do NOT bid 2NT. This is the bid that forces Partner to rebid their suit at the 3 level so you can "Pass". You show a weak hand with 2NT.

Let's look at some examples. Do as many as you can before you get bored or frustrated. Then stop.

On each of the hands YOU are Responder. Partner will open the bidding 1♣. You will respond 1. Partner will then bid 2. You could have suggested playing in . You did not. If you are to return to Partner's original suit you would have to do so at the 3 level. All these things suggest that this is a reverse bid. Partner has a big, unbalanced hand. So they should have five ♣, four and 17+ HCP. What do you do now?

If you rebid your major at the 2 level you show a five card suit.
If you rebid your major at the 3 level you show a six card suit and enough values for game (8+ HCP).
If you now bid 3NT you show enough values for game (8+ HCP) and the unbid suit stopped.
